Taraba PDP kicks start governorship campaign October 10 in Zing, appoints critical officers
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Taraba State has scheduled the kickoff of its Governorship campaign for Saturday October 10th, 2026 in Zing, headquarters of Zing Local Government.
As such, the Governorship Candidate of the party in the state Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has appointed prominent members of the party in the state for the success of the campaign with a view of winning the 2027 governorship election in Taraba State.
In a statement, the Media Director of the Campaign Council Sulaiman Ibrahim Ahmed says the candidate
appointed a 251-member Campaign Council consisting of 23 Directorates and a Door-to-Door Zonal and Local Government coordination offices with Ambassador Hassan Jika Ardo a former Chairman of the APC in Taraba State as the Chairman and Engineer Augustine Yazang Bazing as the alternate Chairman.
Senator Bwacha also appointed Hon. Sule Abubakar Ndigmay as the Council’s Director General and Dr. Yakubu Agbidye as the alternate DG to foresee
the Directorates on Strategy, Research and Planning, Women engagement and Youths engagement; Legal and Compliance, Persons with disabilities as well as INEC liaison among others.
The statement charged those sppointed to work hard to justify the confidence repose in them in the project of fixing Taraba State.
