2019: Nasarawa deputy governor denies withdrawal from governorship race

Nasarawa State deputy governor Silas Agara
The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Mr Silas Agara has denied rumours that he has withdrawn from the governorship race under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement by Director of Information and Strategy, Agara Campaign Organization, Abdullahi Adokwe Ladan, it was observed with dismay the continuous act of sabotage and blackmail being perpetrated by some political jobbers whose aim is to malign and blackmail the deputy governor with all sorts of misrepresentation for their selfish interest.
According to the statement, an impostor goes about calling some of Agara’s close associates and supporters to mislead them about his plans to withdraw from the 2019 governorship bid.
The statement urged to be on the lookout for such impostors whose target is to cause disaffection among the political class and create confusion ahead of the primaries of our great party.
