An aspirant for the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency seat under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Dan Amos, has assured his constituents of quality representation if given the mandate.

Amos made the pledge while declaring his ambition to contest for the seat at the party’s office in Kafanchan and Gwantu, Headquarters of Jema’a and Sanga Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.

The House of Reps contestant who promised to fully maximize the potentials of the human and material resources the constituency was endowed with, also emphasized on giving priority to programs that would empower the youths and women and make them self reliant.

According to the former executive chairman of Jema’a local government council, Amos, said the need to improve the socio-economic well-being of the people and bring development to the area informed his decision to vie for the seat.

“I am in this contest because I want to provide quality leadership that will take Jema’a/Sanga constituency to another level of development.” He added

He admonished the people of the constituency to continue living in peace with one another irrespective of political or religious colouration saying that where there is no peace, there can never be any development.

“I want to better the lot of my people whose interest I have at heart and I promise I won’t let them down if given the mandate in 2023.

“And it is because of this that I am here to solicit your support so that together we can make this constituency the envy of others,” he added

The aspirant noted that as a former council chairman of Jema’a, he would bring capacity, credibility and his wealth of experience in governance to bear in the affairs of the constituency.

“The job requires someone with capacity, commitment, credibility and experience, and that is exactly what I am bringing to the table,” he said

In his remarks, Samuel Isa Shamaki, the Director General of the aspirant’s campaign organization, described Amos as the right man for the job given his impressive pedigree in politics.

Shamaki urged members of the party to place the overriding interest of the vast majority of the populace above all other considerations in choosing who will fly the party’s flag in the 2023 elections.

Also speaking, the vice of the PDP in Jema’a, Isiyaka Abdullahi Ladan, wished the aspirant success in his ambition.

Isiyaka restated the resolve of the party to provide a level playing ground for all aspirants towards ensuring the collective will of the people prevails.

He maintained that the PDP is the party to beat in Southern Kaduna going by its proven track record in the zone over the past 20 years.
