Thirty-three out of the 35 Regular Marshalls from the Bauchi State Sector Command of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) who sat for promotion exams have passed.
The 33 who passed the exams have therefore being promoted and decorated with their ranks which cut across various ranks and files in the Command, from RMAs to CI.
The decoration ceremony which was held at the Sector Command headquarters along Jos road on Friday, welcomed family members and friends of the celebrants as well as Special Marshals from across the State.
According to the Sector Commander, Yusuf Abdullahi, the promotion serve as instruments of motivation to encourage operatives to continue to put in their best for improved FRSC.
The Sector Commander charged the newly promoted officers to see it as an added responsibility on their heads which should spur them to do more for the good of humanity by ensuring a safer roads with minimal crashes.
He further charged them not to see it as means of indulging in acts that will tarnish the image of the Corps reminding them that anyone caught will be dealt with in accordance with the rules and regulations of the FRSC.
For those who did not pass the examination, he urged them not to be despaired but to go back, find out where they made mistakes and prepare well for the next exams.
All Senior Officers of the Command will took charge of the decoration while the Sector Commander delivered a key note address on behalf of Corps Marshall and the entire management of the Corps.
