A former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, has assured Nigerians that they would not regret voting him into power in next week presidential election.
He said this after Cris crossing the country in the cause of his confidence that he will emerge winner and beat his opponent hand down come next week
Atiku spoke at grand finale of his presidential ambition campaign during an presidented mammoth crowd at the Mahmud Ribadu Square Yola.
He noted that North East which rated less developed of the All subregion will be accorded priority in education, physical and human development as well as infrastructural rejuvenation
” The only time the North East can achieve this is when one of theirs emerges as the president of the Republic of Nigeria”
“I am therefore using this auspicious occasion to appeal to the people of the sub region and the entire Nigerians to vote me as the president come February 25”
“Atiku said, ” Am highly elated by the mammoth crowd that witnesses the last day of our campaign which points to a direction that he will emerge victorious at the poll”.
The former Vice president therefore appealed to the people of Adamawa state to ensure that he records the highest votes among the presidential candidates as well as votes for Gov. Ahmadu Umar Fintiri for contimuity and all PDP candidates from top to bottom.
Speaking earlier the National chairman of PDP , Senator Iyorchia Ayu lamented the current hardship faced by Nigerians arising from the currency swap as well as fuel scarcity bedeviling the nation.
He gave an assurance that the PDP led government will fixed these problems bedeviling the country in the shortest possible time if Voted into power
The Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP Senator Ifeanyi Okowa while applauding the people for the large turnout he urged them to ensure, they obtained their PVCs and vote for their son Atiku Abubakar so that your future is guaranteed and moved Nigeria in the right direction.
The Director General DG of the PDP Presidential Council Committee, Udom Emmanuel said 2023 is another opportunity for youth, women and the entire Nigerians to come out massively to vote for Atiku Abubakar
Later the national chairman of the party received over two thousand decampees which includes the immediate past Governor Umaru Jibrilla Bindow.
Others who spoke during the occasion include former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Governor of Sokoto state, Aminu Tambuwal, former Governor Adamawa state, Boni Haruna and a host of others.
