Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has described the victory of the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima as a good omen for the growth and development of Nigeria.
He made the statement while celebrating the victory of Tinubu, saying because of his past good deeds that led to the development of people from Lagos and different parts of the country, while Shettima didn’t runaway from Borno during the crises of Boko Haram, but gave hope to his people.
According to him, “Nigerians should support the transition and administration of Tinubu and Shettima for they to continue developing the country to greater heights in s democratic setting.
” I, my family and supporters will continue supporting the duo of Tinubu and Shettima for the good of the country.” He said.
Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura who is the immediate past Governor of Nasarawa State called on the opposition candidates that contested against Tinubu to concede defeat as politics is not a do or die affair.
