Presenting the appointment letter to the Speaker at his residence on Wednesday, the Chairman of the Committee Nura Sa’idu.

The Local Organizing Committee of the 6th Edition of Ningi Unity Cup has appointed the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Y Suleiman as its Patron.
Presenting the appointment letter to the Speaker at his residence on Wednesday, the Chairman of the Committee Nura Sa’idu said that the appointment was based on the Speaker’s decades of contributions toward the development of sports in Ningi Emirate.
According to him, “Sir your appointment is based on your experience, knowledge, truthfulness, dedication, exemplary lifestyle, leadership qualities and your contribution to sports development.”.
According to him, with this appointment, the Speaker is expected to participate, assist and advise the management of the organization in its activities.
In his response, the Speaker appreciated the Organization for the recognition which he said he will not take lightly.
He stated that sport is the unifying factor especially among the youth all over the world hence the reason he actively participate and contribute in its development.
The Speaker added that being a sport enthusiast, he continue to offer helping hands and expertise toward the success of all sporting activities in Ningi and the State in general as contained in a statement by, Abdul Ahmad BurraSpokesperson to the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly.
