Senatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP), for Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) Mubarak Ahmed Tijani has said his growing acceptance among residents is a clear indication that he is the best among other contestants.
Speaking to Apex News Exclusive (online) at the third RMK Colloquium to mark 66th birthday of Sen. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in Abuja, Mubarak stated that, his clear legislative agenda, integrity, transparency, accountability, among others, are the attributes that have stood him out, and endeared massive supports of the people to his campaign train.
Elated Mubarak who was being cheered by massive party supporters at the event said if elected to the Red Chamber, he will ensure quality legislations that will bring about good governance capable of taking Nigeria out of it present situation. He added that as a youth, it is sad what the youths are going through in the FCT and Nigeria in general, and will come up with skill acquisition programs that would empower and lift them above poverty line.
He also stated that education and economic growth are other areas of interest when voted to the Red Chamber.
