Adamawa Governor Fintiri mourns PDP chieftain Modibbo

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has described the death of Adamu Modibbo a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in the State as shocking.
He said Modibbo died at a time his services are needed in the government’s effort geared towards making the State great again.
The governor made this known in a statement by his Press Secretary Humwashi Wonosikou.
Rt. Hon Fintiri described Modibbo’s contributions to the growth and development of Adamawa as laudable, adding that he stood tall during PDPs struggles to retake the State and return it to where it ought to be.
He said the deceased used his rich experience and knowledge in serving the State and Nation. He condoled the family, friends political, professional associates and people of Girei Local Government area over the loss.
Governor Fintiri who said Adamu Modibbo exemplified a true democrat was an illustrious son of Adamawa State, He also described him as hardworking politician who lived a life worthy of emulation.
He prayed Allah to forgive and grant him Aljanatul Firdausi.
