Adamawa Governor, Fintiri tasks area administrators on grassroots development

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has tasked the newly sworn in 50 Development Area Administrators across the 21 local government areas of the state to stimulate development at the grassroot level.
He made the charge when the administrators took the oath of office administered by the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Afraimu Jingi at Government House, Yola,.
Governor Fintiri said their appointment was a deliberate attempt to stimulate good governance, urging them to work in tandem with the change mantra “Nobody is left behind and nothing is left untouched”.
Deputy Governor, Prof Kaletapwa Farauta, who represented the Governor tasked the administrators to work in synergy with other stakeholders at local and state levels to ensure delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.
The Governor advised them to abide by the oath taken and warned against any act that may hinder them from delivering on their mandate.
In a vote of thanks on behalf of the administrators, Emmanuel Dauda thanked the executive and legislative arm of government for finding them worthy of the task.
Dauda pledged their loyalty, support and commitment to key into the change mantra of the fresh air administration by championing people oriented policies and programs, thereby ensuring the security and well being of their people.
