Adamawa Rep La’ori commissions conference hall in constituency

The Member representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency, Hon. Kwamoti La’ori, has commissioned a multi-purpose hall in Borrong in Demsa Local Government Area in Adamawa State.

La’ori said “recognizing one of us, this hall is dedicated to late Waziri Mbula, Chief John Eddy Manassah in recognition of his effort towards uniting people in the society.”

Hon. Laori paid tribute to the late Waziri Mbula and prayed to God to continue to be a symbol of unity, mutual understanding and peace, for the local community.

The event which took place at Prince Medan Teneke’s town hall that he had built in Demsa town, some of the constituencies asked to be given the block of classrooms he built in Lasala, Gwamba Ward; The JJ Fwa examination hall in Mbula area, and the John Eddy Manassa hall which was inaugurated in Borrong.

La’ori pleaded with the people of the constituency to continue to approach him with meaningful words and ideas that will move the people of his constituency forward and assure them that his ears are open at all times.

His score records and progress achieved in the development of the people cut across the constituencies in all parts of his constituency, and also implemented various infrastructure projects in the areas of education, health, electricity, drinking water among others almost 90% of the 30 constituencies that comprised the Constituency, in Demsa local government.

Hon La’ori while analysing his score card assured the people that for their patient, he who eats last eats the fatest born, “Dilli Ward is the only one left to touch.”

Speaking before the commissiong of the multi-purpose hall, the Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa G. Farauta, commended the member for bridging the gap and providing infrastructure in his constituency, where she called for the maintenance of the place and management and workshops, wedding receptions and other important social gatherings in the area.

In attendance during the occasion, a member representing Demsa Local Government in Adamawa state House of Assembly and the majority leader of the House Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno, and the member representing Numan local government in the state House assembly, Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo.

Among others are chairmen of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde local governments, and Hon. Hardly Dilli, Barr. John Tunor, Hon. Happy Maxwell, Barrister Leader Teneke, Hon. Elkanah Kados, Hon. A.A Sadat, Hon. Satina, Chief Niwesa George, Dr. Ben Direi and Hon. Malena John Manassa.

The chief host is the Murum Mbula, who was represented by Chief Lawsom Gadiel, the District Head of Mbula chiefdom.
