African youth angry, will explode- Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has warned that youth in African will be angry and explode in countries with weak job creation opportunities and bad governance.
He spoke Friday at a sessions tagged “Are African development finance institutions living the vision of their founding fathers?  Insight from a founding father” at the ongoing Afreximbank annual meeting in Abuja.
Chief Obasanjo said he was deeply worried about what was going on in some African countries, particularly the frustrated youths.
He said lessons must be leant from the Arab Spring, and demography should not be a disaster but an advantage.
According to him, leaders must be realistic and aware of innovations and new technology around them.
