After 2 years in captivity, Army reunites kids with parents

Father and child reunited after 2 years
Troops of the 22 Brigade of the Nigerian Army deployed to Operation Lafiya Dole Friday reunited children abducted two years ago by Boko Haram insurgents with their parents at Ngafure village in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The troops rescued the two boys and two girls during a clearance operation at Maima village in Ngala Local Government Area of the state.
A statement emailed to Apex News by the Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier-General Texas Chukwu, said 36 hand grenades were also recovered during the operation.
According to him, the rescued hostages are currently receiving medical attention at the military health facilities.
He reiterated the Nigerian Army’s commitment in rescuing all the hostages held by the Boko Haram terrorists.
