Dr. Aishatu Muazu Alhaji Alhaji

Dr Aishatu Muazu Alhaji Alhaji has joined the league of females to bag a Doctorate degree within the lineage of the founder of the Sokoto Caliphate, Sheikh Usman Bin Fodio.
She is the daughter of Alhaji Muazu Alhaji Alhaji, granddaughter of Alhaji Alhaji, the Sarkin Shanu, literally meaning, Councilor of Livestock, in charge of cows in the whole of the Emirates under the Caliphate – upto to the great jihadist, Sheikh Usman Bin Fodio, the founder of Sokoto Caliphate.
Her lineage is Sheikh Usman Bin Fodio, Malam Buhari, Malam Bara’u, Malam Halilu, Alhaji Alhaji, Alhaji Muazu Alhaji Alhaji, Aishatu Alhaji Muazu Alhaji Alhaji.
The Sultanate under the Sheikh Usman Bin Fodio and his younger brother who was referred to as Abdullahi Bin Fodio of Gwandu Emirate were great scholars who have authored many books, quoted by many, especially the famous quotation by The Guardian Newspaper: “Conscience is an open wound, only truth can heal it”.
The legendary Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto, the first and only Premier of Northern Nigeria, established the first generation and famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria which nurtured Bayero University Kano, amongst others. He like his forebears were famous for scholarship and quest for continuing education.
Aishatu Alhaji Muazu Alhaji Alhaji is emulating the teachings of Sheikh Usman Bin Fodio, Sheikh Abdullahi Bin Fodio and her great Aunt and daughter of Bin Fodio, Malama Nana Asma’u Bin Fodio, otherwise known as Nana-Uwar-Daji by seeking for knowledge despite her silver spoon background and youthful exuberance, breaking a record by being the first among the royal blood of Sokoto to attain the enviable position of the first to bag a Doctor of Philosophy in Management.
There are administrators, like Sardauna, Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki amongst others.
Alhaji Alhaji, grandfather of Dr Aishatu Alhaji Muazu Alhaji Alhaji falls under the category of Academics/ educationist. He was the Teacher of Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi, the first executive President of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari, Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki, Sultan Muhammadu Maccido all of blessed memory.
There are retired Generals and senior officials in the security circle, like the reighning Sultan of Sokoto, General Muhammad Saad Abubakar, Colonel Sambo Dasuki, Emir of Gwandu, Major General Muhmmadu Ilyasu Bashar ( formerly Muhammadu Jega ) l, Major Almustapha Haruna Jokolo,
Economist, like the former Minister of Finance, Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji, the elder brother of her father and the holder of the title of Sardauna of Sokoto.
There are many Professors PhD holders like, Professor Amina Gwandu who was the Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Gusau. Professor Amamatu Dahiru, Lecturer of applied Chemistry in Usman Danfodio University. Sokoto, Professor Aisha Abubakar Halir, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and others.
Some male blue bloods are late Dr Umar Bello, Emeritus Professor Hamid Ahmad, late Dr Umar Bello all of UDUTH Professors Sambo & Muhammad Junaid amongst others.
Dr Aishatu Alhaji Muazu Alhaji Alhaji has joined the rank of scholars and a potential Professor.
It is noteworthy that after the cancellation of slavery around 1914, the Sultanate sponsored children of the former slaves to seek for both Islamic and Western education, they later excelled in various professions and some even as Ministers.
This Princess with blue blood in her veins, was born on 29th August 1985. She attended Unique Nursery & Primary school from 1996 – 1996. For her Secondary School education, she attended, Federal Government College Kaduna from 1996 – 2001.
Aishatu Alhaji Muazu Alhaji passed with flying colors and gained admission in the university founded by her grand-uncle, Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna, Ahmadu Bello University, (ABU) Zaria, Kaduna 2002 – 2007 were she read and graduated as an Accountant.
She then went back to the same Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, between 2015 – 2017 for her Master’s degree in Accounting.
Despite her hardwork and success in life, she still went back for a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Nile University in Abuja from 2019 – 2020.
It is known that with a Master’s degree, she hold any administrative office in Nigeria and beyond, but her zeal made her to seek for the enviable Doctor of Philosophy (PhD Management) from Nile University in Abuja from 2020 – 2023
Dr Aishatu Alhaji Muazu Alhaji started her working career at Nigeria Television Authority, ( NTA) Kaduna State as Accounts Officer December from 2010-June 2012.
She later started working with Federal Inland Revenue Service, (FIRS) Kaduna StateJuly 2012 – November 2013
