The member representing Onitsha North I Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Barrister Chugbo Enwezor, has implored members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), to immediately embark on massive grassroots mobilisation to guarantee the party’s success in the forthcoming State House of Assembly polls.
Barrister Enwezor made the clarion call at Onitsha during a stakeholder’s forum of APGA in the local government area.
He emphasised that no stone should be left unturned to ensure that the next legislative arm of government in the state was dominated by the party in order to sustain the tempo of delivery of democracy dividends by the Obiano administration.
Barrister Enwezor also called on aggrieved members of the party to sheath their swords, and once again embrace the APGA philosophy of be your brother and sister keeper.
He pointed out that there are strong indications that the party has been positioned to play more vital and fruitful roles in the incoming dispensation in the country.
For his part, the member representing Onitsha North II Constituency in the state house of assembly and the party’s candidate in the legislative poll, Engineer Edward Ibuzo, highlighted the various people oriented policies, programs and accomplishments of the present Anambra state government.
Engineer Ibuzo maintained that it is of utmost importance that the Anambra electorate should elect only lawmakers who would work in harmony with Governor Willie Obiano in order to enhance the socioeconomic well-being of the state.
Other stakeholders who spoke at the APGA forum which included the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Media Mobilisation, Mr. Egbuna Amuta, stressed the need for synergy among party faithful so as to record another resounding victory for APGA in the March 9, House of Assembly elections in the state.
