Archbishop Okeke charges Christians to remain steadfast in Christ

By Sunny A. David, Onitsha
The Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province Most Reverend Valerian Okeke says consecrated life radiates splendor of the divinity.
He stated this during the Eucharistic Celebration marking the final profession of eleven Reverend Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha.
The Catholic Prelate, who noted that goodness is attractive, urged the sisters to be steadfast in their consecration to Christ, his Church and humanity.
He prayed God to grant them the grace to be committed to His service. The consecrated sisters later took oath of allegiance.
Superior Mother-General Claude Ogu, who accepted their vows by the authority entrusted on her in the name of the Church for the community prayed that they might fulfill their dedication, which was united with the Eucharistic Sacrifice.
Some of the reverend sisters who performed their last profession were Mary Rose Helen Igwedibie, Maureen Faustina Aniekwe and Maria Ebelechi Muodozie. Others were Maria Chibuanurim Njaka and Ancilla Maria Uchefuna.
