The traditional ruler of Atani Igwe Augustine Azuka Ngoddy has commended Governor Willie Obiano for his dogged disposition towards enhancing development in the state.
Igwe Ngoddy who spoke to newsmen at the Government House Awka made special reference to his community which has received government presence in the first and second phases of the choose- Your- project initiative of the Obiano’s administration .
According to the Royal father, the community is enjoying relative peace under the present administration which has enthroned the best security networks in the country.
He used the forum to express dismay on the high level of insecurity in the country and called on the federal government to borrow a leaf from the Obiano administration to stop the incessant killings by suspected rampaging herdsmen that have ravaged some parts of the country.
The Monarch called on the Igbos living outside Igbo land to think home and to always speak with one voice.
