ATBUTH College of Nursing celebrates CMD’s reappointment, presents gifts

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) College of Nursing Sciences in Bauchi has organized a celebration in honor of the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Yusuf Bara Jibrin, on his reappointment for a second tenure.
In his speech, the Provost of the College, Nrs. Adamu Ahmad, praised the CMD’s impactful achievements during his first term, including the establishment of six new classroom blocks and offices, a fully equipped science laboratory, an entrepreneurship center, the construction of a new family medicine complex, IVF complex, oxygen plant, and the accreditation of medical departments. He expressed hope that the College, under ATBUTH’s guidance, would continue advancing, particularly with the ongoing affiliation process aimed at offering a BSc in Nursing.
In a goodwill message, Deputy Provost Mal. Hussaini Muhammad highlighted the CMD’s exceptional and admirable qualities. Both the Director of Administration, Usman Yakubu Suri, and the CMAC, Dr. Haruna Usman Liman, took the opportunity to offer congratulations again to Prof. Yusuf and called for continuous improvements in service delivery.
Prof. Yusuf Bara Jibrin, appreciating the gesture, encouraged ongoing support and collaboration to help fulfill his vision of establishing ATBUTH as the leading healthcare center in the North East. He urged the College administration to work diligently and communicate any concerns to the hospital management.
The celebration included paper presentations, gift cards, and other memorable activities.
