The late Emir Agwai I
The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has expressed shock over the demise of the Emir of Lafia, Alhaji Mustapha Agwai I on Thursday.
The Emir died in an Abuja hospital and will be buried on Friday in Lafia.
In his official Twitter handle, the Waziri Adamawa said: “I received with shock the loss of Emir of Lafia and Chairman, Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Isa Mustapha Agwai.”
According to him, the late emir will be remembered amongst others as an educationist and humanitarian. “May Allah grant him AlJannah Firdaus,” Atiku prayed in the Tweet.
