Attacks on operatives: Bauchi FRSC resort to divine intervention from God

Worried by frequent attacks on its operatives by hoodlums, Bauchi State Command of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) has resorted to seeking divine intervention from God to protect them.
Consequently, the Command has donated food stuffs and other items to the orphanage homes to solicit prayers for its operatives on the line of duty.
The development is following rampant attacks on operatives of the Corps by some hoodlums that led to the death of Two staff while others were left with various degree of injuries. According to the State Commander of RS12.1, FRSC Bauchi Command, CC Yusuf Abdullahi, the Command is requesting the children to use the opportunity of the Holy month of Ramadan to pray for the protection and safety of the operatives to enable them carryout their mandate successfully.
Yusuf Abdullahi stressed that though the operatives are facing high risks on the line of duty, they will not relent in the efforts to ensure an accident free roads across the state.
He said that the primary objective of the FRSC is to minimize ghastly roads crashes by ensuring adherence to traffic rules and regulations by all roads users urging for cooperation.
The FRSC State Commander while commending the operatives for risking their lives for a safer road advised them to be cautious and security conscious while performing their official duties.
