In a bid to enhance healthcare service delivery in Bauchi State, the Health System Strengthening Cluster has partnered with the media to improve quality healthcare services through Integrated Supportive Supervision (ISS).

The collaboration aims to increase the availability and accessibility of quality healthcare services to citizens. Shuaibu Ali Kobi, Program Manager of the Bauchi State Network of Organizations, CSOs, explained that the cluster engages with stakeholders to sustain budgetary allocation for ISS in the 2025 budget proposals.

The partnership will address compounding issues in the sector, improve transparency, accountability, and governance, and boost universal health coverage. Kobi called on private sectors and stakeholders to support and invest in healthcare service delivery.

The partnership is expected to improve optimal healthcare service delivery in the state. With the media on board, the cluster aims to amplify its advocacy efforts, track budget performance, and promote good governance in the health sector.

This collaboration is a significant step towards strengthening Bauchi’s healthcare system and ensuring that citizens receive quality healthcare services.
