In his efforts to create a conducive relationship with working Journalists in Bauchi state, one of the gubernatorial aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar (rtd) hosted selected Journalists in the state to Ramadan fast breaking in his house.
The selected journalists were included among APC critical stakeholders, members and supporters who converged at his New GRA Residence to break the fast where special invitees also interrelated among themselves.
During the Iftar, a former Commissioner in the state and close partner of the governorship aspirant, Sadiq Alhassan Abubakar thanked the guests for honouring the invitation to break the fast of the Ramadan month with them.
He assured that the Campaign organization will work closely with Journalists in the state in ensuring that the aspiration becomes reality by winning the party gubernatorial ticket at the end of the party primaries.
Also speaking to the journalists, an elder, Alh Yerima Aliyu Giade commended the Journalists for answering the invitation saying that it has demonstrated their professionalism by according everyone the chance to be heard.
Yerima Aliyu Giade said that people like him joined the Saddique for Governor project because they have believe in his ability to steer the ship of the state effectively even better than what it is presently.
Khalid Idris, one of the Journalists hailed organizers of the fast breaking for affording working Journalists the opportunity to grace the annual and most rewarding event.
Khalid Idris explained that Journalists as purveyors of information are always ready to partner with any public and private organization or spirited individual in promoting the growth and development of Bauchi state in particular and the country as a whole.
He assured that throughout the campaign period and beyond, Journalists in the state will remain non-partisan and will accord everyone who approach them the opportunity to speak and be reported.
