Members of the Special Marshal during their monthly meeting

Members of the Special Marshall, Bauchi State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have been commended for supporting the Corps in ensuring safer roads across the state.
The commendation was made by the Sector Commander of the FRSC, Rs 12.1, Bauchi, Abdullahi Yusuf in a message he sent to the Special Marshall during their monthly meeting held at the Base on Saturday.
The Sector Commander further expressed delight over the way and manner members of the Special Marshall are carrying out their functions of traffic control, public education and sensitization effectively saying that it has gone a long way in complementing the Regular Marshall.
Abdullahi Yusuf was particularly impressed that some of the Special Marshall who are media practitioners have greatly used their various media to take the message of safer roads to the general public.
He then urged the Special Marshall to strive to do more for humanity in order to further reduce road crashes in the state.
Earlier, the Deputy State Coordinator of the Special Marshall, SM Godwin Onuoha had challenged the members to be more serious with their voluntary services particularly in the area of weekly patrol stressing that it is through such that their impact will be felt by the motoring public.
Godwin Onuoha then assured the Sector Commander that members of the Special Marshall will remain committed to the project of safer roads in Bauchi state.
