Bauchi Governor loses uncle, Village Head of Alkaleri, Muhammadu Abdulkadir at 100

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has announced the passing of his uncle and Village Head of Alkaleri, Alhaji Muhammadu Abdulkadir.
The announcement was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, made available to Journalists on Thursday.
The statement contained, “It is with deep sorrow that His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State announces the passing of his beloved Uncle, Alhaji Muhammadu, Abdulkadir, Sarkin Alkaleri who departed this world today, March 13, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100, following a prolonged illness.”
The Governor was quoted stating that, “Late Alhaji Muhammadu Abdulkadir was a pillar of wisdom and an embodiment of dedication to his community. His century-long life was marked by unwavering commitment to the principles of good leadership, and service.”
He stressed that, “As the Village Head of Alkaleri he played a pivotal role in fostering unity and development within Alkaleri community and beyond.”
The funeral prayer was scheduled to take place at the village Head’s Palace in Alkaleri by 10:00am.
He concluded,”May Almighty Allah grant his departed soul eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and bestow strength upon the family and community to bear this profound loss.”
