Bauchi Governor Mohammed hosts NDC Course 33, dwell on robust partnership to checkmate insecurity

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Tuesday dwell on the need for robust partnerships in addressing security challenges in the country as yard stick for development.
He spoke when he received participants of Course 33 from the National Defense College, Abuja in Bauchi is part of a study tour aimed at understanding regional security dynamics and effective governance practices.
Governor Mohammed while welcoming the participants, led by the Commandant Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa Morakinyo, reinterated this administration’s focus on security.
Mohammed comfortably said that the move is essential for the well-being and economic progress of Bauchi State’s communities as promised during campaign, hence the need to engage and collaborate any security advantage to protect them to enjoy dividend of democracy.
He said through the collaborative effort with conventional security agencies, vigilante, traditional and religious leaders, the state remained the most peaceful in the northern part of the country and pledged to consolidate on the advantage.
The Governor expressed gratitude for their coming and wished them successful study tour and safe return to Abuja.

As leader of the delegation, the Commandant of the College, Rear Admiral Morakinyo, commended the governor’s commitment and efforts to initiate integration of local and national security to protect lives and property of the governed.
Rear Admiral Morakinyo, expressed optimism that the study tour will allow participants to develop informed, actionable recommendations that would overcome both regional and national security issues.
