A renown businessman, chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) and philanthropist Alhaji Salisu Garba Maisuga, has explained that business successes relies on master and customer trust.
Maisuga stated this while answering questions from our reporter in Bauchi over the N1billion loan Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar gave traders and artisans’ association in the state.
He said what businesses needed was trust both from the master of a trader who provided capital to the customer who purchased the goods from a trader.
According to him, if there is trust and honesty, the business will thrive and all will be satisfied.
He said Bauchi is now a commercial city because business activities has triumph in the state and today a trader can order huge goods and many travel overseas for business activities, a clear sign that businesses in the state has triumph beyond expectations.
Maisuga commended the state governor for giving N1billion loan to traders without interest noting that the loan will boost commercial activities thereby reducing poverty to barest minimum.
He said the trade and artisan associations have come out with various plans on the best way to distribute the amount judiciously so that it can reach all traders in the 20 local government areas of the state.
Maisuga said all traders will pay back the loan in good time and be a revolving loan for 20 months for others to benefit from.
He said the last administration of Governor Isa Yuguda gave them N500million loan and they all paid back and the doubling of the amount was a clear sign of harmonious support and cordial relationship between the state government and the traders.
Maisuga said it was a surprise gesture and the association would support and mobilize for the reelection of the governor in 2019.
