Bauchi organized Labour commend Governor Mohammed for acceding to demands of workers

The Organized Labour in Bauchi State under the leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) has appreciated and commended the State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for acceding to the demands of workers in the state.
Comrade Dauda M. Shuaibu, Chairman, NLC and Sabiu Barau Ningi, Chairman, TUC jointly commended and appreciated the Governor for Service-wide tenure elongation of 65 years of age of service for all workers across the State civil service.
The Labour leaders also commended the Governor for the approval of Salary relativity between the office Permanent Secretary and Director to curve competition in the post of Permanent Secretary.
They also commended his commitment to the allocation of sizeable number of Houses at a subsidized rate to the workers of Bauchi State in the current development of Mass Housing scheme embarked upon by the Administration.
The declaration was made by the Governor in his recent interaction with the leadership of the organized labour and NUT co-ordinated by the Head of Civil Service.
The organised labour also appreciated the efforts of the Office of the Head of Civil Service, under the leadership of Alhaji Yahuza Adamu, for putting the workers’ welfare and agenda at the front burner among other competing priorities of Government.
