Bauchi Police Commissioner promises to scale-up security in Bauchi community

The Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command CP Umar Mamman Sanda has promised to scale up the number of Police personnel in Divisional Police Headquarters Tilden Fulani community from eight to thirty.
CP Umar Mamman Sanda made this known after the district Head of the community Umar Adamu raised some security concerns in the area at the official Commissioning of the division on Thursday.
The CP said the essence is parts of the Command’s efforts to show the full presence of their personnel at every nooks and crannies of the state including those bordering neighbouring States like Tilden Fulani adding that their efforts will be doubled.
“Tilde is bounding about 3 States and has boundary internally with some LGAs also; this makes it very vulnerable, this time around, I will like to assured that we are redoubling our efforts, I will Increase the strength of Police men in this place” The CP said.
The CP however emphasised the need for the community members to be feeding their personnel with relevant information that will make their operation easier.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman Tilde Fulani Community Development Association (TCDA) appreciated the gesture of the Command adding that the community is in dire need of the division to Increase the presence of the police in the area.
“As we are aware recently, our area has experienced a Lot of Security challenges which led to lost of two lives as a result of kidnapping and other criminal activities”, he said.
These and many other reasons led to the community’decision through Tilden Fulani Community Development Association ( TCDA) to pursue the establishment a Divisional Police Headquarters in the area to address security situation in and around Tilden Fulani”, he added.
Speaking to Apex News Exclusive, a member of the community Mohammed Tilde expressed joy on the development adding that it is needed to check security breaches in the area.
