Bauchi’s Bogoro local government procures, distributes N3.9m essential drugs to 13 health facilities

Essential drugs worth the sum of N3.9m have been procured and distributed to 13 health care facilities in Bogoro LGA of Bauchi State under the Drug Revolving Fund.
The procurement and distribution of the drugs which are for the One Main Primary Health Centres per unit across the area was  part of the efforts of the Council towards boosting healthcare delivery services in Bogoro Local Government Area. 

Executive Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Area Iliya Habila while distributing the drugs charged the officers in charge of the facilities and officials of Ward Development Committees  (WDCS) to ensure judicious use of the drugs. 
Iliya Habila stressed that provision of quality healthcare delivery services is one of the primary objectives of his administration and it will not fail in that direction as according to him, health is wealth. 
The Council Chairman added that whatever it takes to make essential drugs and other consumables readily available in all the health facilities will be done in order to ensure that the people got adequate medical attention. 
He then warned that he will not take excuses for any failure by the health workers stressing that the scheme is a revolving one and must be supported in order to succeed to enable others benefit.
