Bayelsa gets new head of civil service, 3 permsecs retire

Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has approved the appointment of Mr Luca Wellington Obiri, as the acting head of the state civil service.
His appointment followed the retirement of Rev. Thomas Zidafamor.
The state commissioner for information and orientation, Daniel Iworiso Mackson in a statement said the new head of service had served as a permanent secretary in the office of the Secretary to State Government (SSG).
Also, the commissioner also announced that the governor has approved the voluntary retirement of three permanent secretaries in the state civil service. They are Dr. Promise Ekio, Engr. Prekake Gede and Dr. Debian Opukiri.
