The Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State on Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mustapha Buhari Bala, has described the inclusion of the youth in governance as a positive move for speedy societal growth.

The politician when speaking to Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on the occasion of the International Youth Day further stated that the strength to move any nation to limelight rested heavily on the shoulders of young men and women in the society.

He said it was in realisation of such cog in the wheel of development that Governor Nasir Idris appointed a large number of youth as Commissioners, Special Advisers as well as heads of Boards, Commissions and Agencies to blend both the new and old ideas to move the state to higher heights of development.

Bala said such blend had yielded positive results as the state had witnessed rapid infrastructural transformation, besides huge successes in the areas of education security, agriculture, water resources and rural development without comprising the welfare of civil servants.

The Special Adviser therefore urged the youth to stay away from drugs that often destroy their future, instead, they should provide maximum support for Governor Nasir Idris Administration as it worked round the clock to put in place a better society that would boost their potentials for self reliance and socioeconomic wellbeing.
