Governor Ahmadu Fintiri

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has been returned unopposed as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), governorship candidate.
He is seeking to his second term in office.
Our reporter reports that the Governor was the sole candidate as one of the candidates, Ambassador Jameel Waziri Abubakar was allegedly disqualified by the party’s screening committee for not fulfilling all the party registration criterias.
In an acceptance speech, Fintiri commended the people for the confidence repose on him and for overwhelming support be given to former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Fintiri also said that he was optimistic that Atiku will be the country’s next President.
Fintiri disclosed that more developments would be expected when Atiku becomes the President of this country.
