Brotherhood bishops want Nigerians to eschew violence

About 600 bishops including five archbishops from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star have urged Nigerians to shun hatred and tolerate each other.
The clerics from within and outside Nigeria made the call in Port Harcourt at the biennial summit tagged “2018 Solemn Conferences.”
Brotherhood’s spiritual leader, represented by its general secretary, Archbishop B. W. Degi, urged the bishops to continue to show godly examples to impact on mankind.
Dean of the Brotherhood College of Bishops, the patriarch, Christ Shepherd Basset Imowo said Nigerians should tolerate themselves and eschew acrimony in order to attract God’s favours.
