Centre for Korean Studies to be established at UNICAL
The University of Calabar is to establish a Centre for Korean Studies, it Vice Chancellor, Professor Zana Akpagu, has said.
Apex News gathered that the planned establishment followed a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Korea recently.
The Vice Chancellor made the pronouncement Saturday a lecture in Calabar.
He said the establishment of the centre was part of the efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties by both countries.
The Ambassador of Korea to Nigeria, Professor Lee In-Tae, who spoke at the lecture, said relationship between the institution and Korea has been cordial, hence reason to set up the centre at the university.
