Consul-General, Lumumba, American, Briton in Calabar for 2nd Annual Public Lecture on Leader Olumba Olumba Obu

Internationally renowned academic and public speaker, Prof Patrick Lumumba, the consul general of Antigua & Barbuda in Nigeria, Dr Wallace Williams are in Calabar as guests speakers at the Leader Olumba Olumba Obu 2nd Annual Public Speaker.

Two other speakers who will also attempt to unravel the mystery surrounding the spiritual leader have also arrived Calabar. They include a renowned American priest, Todd Johnson as well as septuagenarian Briton Christ Shepherd Rosemary Goring

Another academic and researcher, Oto-Abasi Akpan, Professor of history of ideas and security studies at the Akwa Ibom State University will speak about the deity, influence, immense spiritual contributions of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the founder of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star at Cultural Centre Calabar Nigeria.

The event is the second annual public in honour of the spiritual enigma who teaches Love, forgiveness and unity of all races and religions with followers running over ten million.

Addressing Journalists in Calabar, the deputy spokesman of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Christ Shepherd Ogar Osim said the theme of the second annual lecture is Reflecting On The Unique Treasure In Africa – being an extract of one of the teachings of Leader OOOBU..

Still reflecting on Obu’s virtues and presence on earth as one that has tremendously impacted Africa, Osim said the influential spiritual leader has revealed that, “This is the time for the restoration of the lost glory of the Black Race..”

He cautioned that those God has graciously kept in position of of leadership in Africa must realise and rekindle their efforts towards making the continent greater.

He explained that Lumumba and other erudite speakers had to be invited to come out and elucidate on what they have found out about Obu, regarded as the Spirit Being or the Godhead who exists in all planes simultaneously.
