Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency Rep, Manu Soro donates fire fighting vehicle to Bauchi Government

The Member of the House of Representatives representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro has donated a brand new fire fighting vehicle to the Bauchi State Government.

The donated vehicle is part of his contribution to complement efforts of Government in fighting fire disaster across the state with particular attention on the two LGs of Darazo and Ganjuwa.

The Federal Lawmaker wants the fire fighting vehicle to be used in his Constituency especially during the harmattan period when fire incidences are rampant due to bush burning.

The fire fighting vehicle will be stationed at the Darazo fire service substation for the use of the people as he presented it to the State Government through the Governor, Sen Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir at the Government House, Bauchi on Thursday.

He disclosed the he decided to make the donation so as to assist his constituents and the state government in prompt response to emergency cases particularly fire incidents.

While receiving the vehicle, the Governor Bala Mohammed, appreciated the Member for his support and charged the Local Government Council under the chairperson, Hon Sama’ila Ya’u Sade and members of the fire service to make the best use of the vehicle.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim, the Governor stressed the importance of synergy among elected officials in service delivery.

The Governor added that the essence of governance is to serve the people by bringing development close to them through democratic dividends.
