Democracy Day abduction: Taraba royal father freed after N4m ransom
After spending four awful days in captivity, the chief of Sansani in Gassol Local Government in Taraba State, Abdulmudallabi Nuhu, has been freed but not without parting with N4million.
He regained freedom midnight Thursday after the kidnappers collected the ransom around 8.30pm.
The initial money requested was N50million before it was scaled down after intense bargain.
The 3rd Class ruler and two other persons were whisked away minutes after they left the venue of the Democracy Day activities in Jalingo, Taraba State capital on Tuesday, May 29.
The chief, a guard, called Dogari in local parlance and another person had since reunited with their families.
