Dickson orders arrest of APC lawmaker over violence

Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has ordered security agencies in the state to arrest the legislator representing the Brass Constituency I in the state House of Assembly, Israel Sunny-Goli.
He has been accused of masterminding August’s crisis in Brass Local Government where four persons were killed.
Dickson also said if the lawmaker is not arrested, he would personally mobilise for his apprehension.
According to the press statement by the governor’s Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Mr Daniel Alabrah, he accused the lawmaker of being responsible for various crimes in Brass Local Government including thuggery and cultism.
The governor accused the police and the Department of State Services (DSS) for failing to arrest the lawmaker despite the plethora of petitions against him.
