Disgraced ex-minister Adeosun bolts to London
There are strong indications that former Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, who resigned her appointment on Friday, might have left for London vie a British Airways (BA) flight through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja Saturday.
The minister resigned following accusations of a forged NYSC certificate.
Online publication, Premium Times blew the lid in July accusing her of skipping the mandatory one year service to the country having graduated at the age of 22 years in the United Kingdom and was not qualified for exemption meant for those above 30 years.
Her resignation was accepted by President Muhammadu Buhari. The President had asked the Minister of State Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, to oversee the Ministry of Finance.
It was not immediately clear where her final destination might be but with a BA flight, her immediate destination will be London before transiting to any other destination.
