Educationist dedicates UN award to Taraba Governor Kefas, Darius, monarch, family, others, remains grateful

The Executive Secretary of Taraba State Post Primary Schools Management Board, Dr. Dan’azumi Navoki Hassan has dedicated an award received by the United Nations to the state Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas and his predecessor Architect Darius Ishaku.

Others include the Gara Donga, Ambassador Shimbura Voarzoa, family members, friends and well-wishers.
The honorary doctorate degree in sociology of peace award by United Nations POLAC Multilaterism Foundation took the educationist unawaresas cross section of people in the state continue to identify with him.
Speaking to our correspondent in Jalingo shortly on arrival, Dr. Hassan appreciated the management of the United Nations POLAC Foundation, Lagos for finding him worthy for the investiture.
He disclosed that he was shocked when he received the notification and invitation from the foundation, slated to be among the awardees at the Lagos institution, an award he considered as benefit to the state as regards to peace advocacy.
The Executive Secretary remarked that the honour would spur him to continue with peace advocacy for a better society and thanked them for supporting him to reach the ladder of success in life, noting with gratitude to those who identified with him on his achievement.
Among those who spoke to our reporter on the award, include the state chairman of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Comrade Nathan Solomon and a senior principal in the state, Mrs. Emose Theophilus Garba of Government Technical Training Secondary School, Wukari.
Comrade Solomon said the award on the celebrant was well deserved considering his unwavering support, persistent hard work in ensuring that principals get what belongs to them at record time.
He described Dr. Dan’azumi as an articulated hard working gentleman whose passion for education knows no bounds as the state is lucky to have him in the education sector.
Comrade Solomon added that the United Nations award was a clear testimony that the celebrant has left a landmark as far as education was concerned in Taraba and encouraged him for more success.
Mrs. Garba described the UN award to her boss as a milestone and a step in the right direction.
She appreciated gov.Kefas for providing an enabling environment for the Executive Secretary to thrive.
Garba noted that under his watch at the board, secondary schools in the state have continued to witness rapid developments and expressed delight that the award will encourage him more to do the needful.
