El-Kanemi Warriors FC, Maiduguri Chairman confirms death of goalkeeper Agor, condoles family, supporters

The Chairman, Board of El-Kanemi Warriors FC, Maiduguri, Alhaji Mustapha Ibrahim Mainu has confirmed the death of his goalkeeper Agbor Ekoi, who joined club from Sporting Lagos FC at the beginning of the season.

The deceased who was officially released to traveled to his home town died in an automobile accident, where he was confirmed dead.

This was contained in a statement by
Secretary Board of El-Kanemi Warriors FC, Tahiru Bala.

Mainu described Agbor as a strong and reliable goalkeeper with promising talents that will be missed by football lovers generally.

The Chairman prayed God to forgive his short-comings and grant him eternal rest.

He condole the bereaved family and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Mainu went on to also condole his teammates, supporters in maiduguri and globally to see his death as a call by our Creator who loves him more than us.

According to him “death is inevitable and all of us must taste it. We should therefore remember him in our prayers.”
