Federation Cup: Wikki Tourists FC beats Warinje 1-0 to emerge 2024 Bauchi champions

Defending Champions of Bauchi state Federation Cup (FA Cup), Wikki Tourists FC have emerged winners of the 2024 edition of the competition.
The team defeated Warinje FC by 1-0 in a fiercely contested final played at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi Saturday 30, March 2024.
Assistant Captain Manu Garba scored the only goal in the 89th minute after coming from the bench.
First half of the game had ended goalless with Warinje challenging and thwarting all attempts by Wikki Tourists to score.
Warinje goalkeeper, Sulaiman Hussain was exceptionally good in the post and had almost led Warinje to a penalty shoot out but for the last minute strike by Manu Garba as a result of mounted pressure which he could no longer contain.
Board Member of the Bauchi Football Association, (BFA) Rilwanu Maidawa on behalf of the FA Chairman, Pascal Patrick presented the trophy to Wikki Tourists FC Captain, Idris Mohammed Guda and Assistant captain Manu Garba.
Wikki Tourists FC Chairman , Auwal Gotel and the board members also witnessed the final.
With this Victory Wikki Tourists and the runners up Warinje FC will now represent Bauchi State at the National level of the Federation Cup competition 2024.
