A former Enyimba FC of Aba Centre forward, Chisom Okereke Sunday, has signed a one year contract with Mosta FC in Malta, Southern Europe.
The 20-year-old bulky attacker formerly played for Nasarawa United FC of Lafia, before joining the Aba Elephants at the expiration of his contract after the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier League Season, scoring goals in double digits for the Lafia-based Solid Miners.
He would later join Bendel Insurance where he netted four times for the Benin Arsenal.
The highly skilled and experienced frontman will be wearing the number eleven jersey at his new found home, and is expected to immediately launch himself into the big stage in the Maltese first division league, especially with the team struggling at the bottom of the league table after three games into the 2024/25 Maltese’ Premier League, by bringing his wealth of talent, dedication, hard work, and passion to the squad as a valuable asset.
Speaking from his current base the player said: “I am excited to join Mosta FC, and contribute to the team’s success.
“I am looking forward to working with the coach, staff and my new teammates to achieve our goals and make the fans proud,” Chisom said. (Digital Sports Press)
