A former Special Adviser (SA) Political to Kaduna State Governor and one-time Interim Chairman,Jaba Local Government Area, Hon. Ben Kure has returned to All Progressive Party, (APC) from New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Receiving his membership card at APC, Daddu Ward office in Jaba LG on Saturday Hon. Kure said he made a U- turn from NNPP to APC after three years of exile to Senator Uba Sani his support to re-unite Kaduna State.
He explained that he left APC because of injustice after serving as campaign Director General two times for Governor El-Rufai and deliver after which he was dumped.
He said he is back to give Senator Uba whom he succeeded as SA Political when he goes to Senate and now that he became the Governor to give him all him all the needed support in his quest to sanitize the politics of Kaduna State.
He said he was among the pioneer members who brought APC to Kaduna State and served as two times campaign Director general for Governor El Rufai and delivered but dumped after the success felt aggrieved to left to another Party for being dumped.
According to Kure, Senator Sani is taking all manner of people along particularly Southern Kaduna and they most give him full support to correct the political anomalies.
While presenting the flag and APC membership card to the decamping member the Ward party Chairman Mr.Ishaku Barnabas said APC in Dadu and Jaba LGA lost him as a leader during his absent but now felt since of belonging with his coming back.
He noted that the joy was not for APC alone but for all political class in the ward as PDP, Labour Party and APGA among other opposition parties were present to welcome Hon. Ben back as political mentor.
Also speaking, the Councillor of the Ward, Hon. Daniel Kyari explained that Kure was his political father and felt weak during his absent but now filling stronger.
On behalf of other party members, a major stakeholder from PDP Hon.Solomon Kyari said they were there to witness the return of Kure as a political mentor to them in Dadu and Jaba LG as a whole and the occasion motivated some of them to think of joining the APC moving train very soon.
