Mai-Mala Buni
Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe State has endorsed the nomination of the National Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai-Mala Buni as the party’s gubernatorial flag-bearer in the 2019 governorship election.
The governor made the disclosure at a meeting with top party officials in Damaturu, the state capital.
The state secretary of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Bakabe confirmed that the governor had officially submitted the name of Buni to fly the party’s flag in 2019.
Supporters and party faithful were seen on the street jubilating the anointment of Buni.
Apex News gathered that the governor had also endorsed the Senate leader, Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, for senate ticket and his spokesman, Malam Abdullahi Bego for House of Representatives, Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency.
