He added that, ” The Governor in his usual show of sympathy has provided for these interventions as an immidiate and prompt response to assuage the pains of the people”.
He called on the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items, to keep the fertilizer for the next farming season and where possible use it for dry farming season.
In his remarks, the Chairman State Steering Committee for Distribution of Palliatives and Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency Alh. Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi explained that, 2600 households shall benefit from the intervention in Dukku local Government Area, consisting of 10 households from the 260 polling units in the Local Government Area.

The Caretaker Chairman and Chairman Local Government Palliatives Committee, Alh. Jamilu Ahmed Shabewa said they have made adequate arrangements for successful distribution of the items appreciating the Governor for coming to the aid of the people.
The Emir of Dukku, Alh. Haruna Abdulkadir Rasheed expressed gratitude to the Governor for promptly intervening in the current economic crises by distributing palliatives to the people
He appealed to the people to be patient because the palliatives may not go round to all but only some of those who are considered in serious need are enlisted to benefit.
