Governor Buni distributes 300 Riyals each to 1,332 Yobe pilgrims

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State
Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, has distributed 300 Saudi Riyals to each of the 1,332 Yobe pilgrims in the holy land of Mecca.
Special adviser to the Yobe State Governor on Hajj Operation, Hon Baffa Maina disclosed this to newsmen in a telephone interview.
He said the governor made the donation when he visited Yobe camp in the holy land to interact with the pilgrims.
Maina said the gesture by the Governor was to compliment the expenses incurred by the pilgrims during their stay in the holy land.
He said the Governor Buni who visited the pilgrims’ tent in Muna, appreciated them for their good conduct in Saudi Arabia.
Maina commended the pilgrims for respecting the authorities, both in Nigeria and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He added that, “I want to inform you that, Buni’s administration would not relent in supporting the state pilgrims’ welfare board in order to provide best services to pilgrims”.
Maina called on the state pilgrims to continue giving their support and maximum cooperation to the state Governor for his leadership styles.
He said the Governor expressed his profound gratitude to the pilgrims for their prayers for the success of his administration and urged them to sustain the tempo.
He thanked the efforts of the officials during the 2024 Hajj exercise, saying the state governor has done a lot for the pilgrim’s, including accommodation, transportation, feeding and welfare.
