Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku has been declared winner of the People’s Democratic Party Senatorial Primaries after pulling one hundred and fifty four votes.
Announcing the result,the returning officer Professor Dogara Matu said numbers of accredited voters are one hundred and fifty eight with four invalid votes.
Professor Dogara Matu,announced local Government Areas that took part in the Congress to include Wukari, Takum, Donga, Ibbi and Ussa which was conducted at the Wukari Stadium.
Speaking,Governor Darius Ishaku thanked people of the State for their support to his administration for the past seven years.
He assured people of Southern Taraba of quality Representation at the red chamber.
The Governor appreciated the delegates for their patience and for maintaining peace during the whole period of the exercise.
Governor Darius Ishaku was the only Aspirants of the PDP who is now the candidate that contested for the Southern Taraba Senatorial seat.
