Governor Sule’s victory at Supreme Court: Lafia LG Chairman praises judiciary

The Chairman of Lafia Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Aminu Muazu Maifata, has praised the Judiciary in Nigeria for being fair and just in its judgements.
He made the statement when he address supporters that welcomed the victorious Governor Abdullahi Sule back to the state capital after he was pronounced winner of the gubernatorial election by the Justices of the Supreme Court in Abuja.
The Governor, of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) was challenged by Honourable David Umbugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
Alhaji Maifata who is also the Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, (ALGON) said, “I and my colleagues in other local governments in our dear state joins the large number of supporters in welcoming back our Governor to Lafia, the state capital.
“We are hopeful that he will have more zeal after this Supreme Court victory to continue his constitutional mandate of developing the state given his sterling background within Nigeria and beyond,” he said.
Alhaji Maifata however calls on his colleagues to continue working towards developing the grassroots.
