A gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha says he called by fate and destiny to bring the state out of quackmire and decay.

The Senator who was the immediate past deputy minority leader of the Senate under the PDP and recently defected to the APC said his decamping to the APC was very necessary in order to join hands with well-meaning Tarabans to restore the lost glory of the State.

Bwacha said his mission is to strengthened the feelings of togetherness among the people irrespective of creed and bring confidence in the minds of the people and provide infrastructures that are absolutely absent in Taraba State.

The serving Senator lamented that his mind bleeds when he looks at the moral decay in the state and lack of basic infrastructure but expressed the hope that there will light at the end of the tunnel.

He called on all other aspirants of the party to join hands with any of them that picked the ticket to ensure its success to see a Taraba State where peace and development thrives and where peace and prosperity will be achieved.

The aspirant maintained that the APC is vehemently opposed to thuggery and any kind of violence and urged all politicians to shun the act noting that “no one can change the will of God of who is to become the next Governor of Taraba State”.

Bwacha said he is a signatory to the consensus bill at the Senate to broaden democracy where all parties must have to agree but if a single person disagrees then the consensus cannot hold.
On the allegations against him for diverting Constituency projects allowances into his personal use, Senator Bwacha observed that ”Legislators do not award contracts moreover all the Constituency projects earmarked for his Senatorial zone have been executed”.

He said he is not immune to prosecution believing that the petition against him was informed by envy but does not hold water.
He challenged anyone with concrete evidence to come forward that he is ready for prosecution.
